Abcombi Biosciences, Inc.

Background:

Abcombi was formed at UB to commercialize two innovations: a protein-based vaccine platform and a new drug-delivery method, developed in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences research laboratories of Blaine Pfeifer and Jonathan Lovell, respectively. The company has used many programs available through UB, including funding from the Bright Buffalo Niagara business competition, Critical Path and National Science Foundation (NSF) programs.
