Qunnect LLC was formed by a team of researchers at Stony Brook University’s Quantum Information Technology Laboratory. The startup has exclusive license to a technology that uses quantum-memory applications at room-temperatures to securely store and transfer information. Unlike digital communication, the security of quantum networks does not depend on mathematical algorithms and is inherently more secure and reliable.
As hacking into communication networks is an ever-increasing threat for companies and institutions, Qunnect’s goal is to develop hyper-secure long-distance communication networks with advantages such as fast and highly accurate cyber-threat detection capabilities.
